Shri Swami Samarth was always there for the poor and the needy. There was a person called Govindarao Tol who was suffering from a bad stomach ache. His father Chintopant Tol advised him to visit Akkalkot and take a darshan of Swamiji. This gentleman came to Akkalkot and took a darshan of Swamiji and from there he planned to visit Ganagapur because he was not very devoted to Swamiji. Govindrao Tol went to Ganagpur and stayed there and offered his services for two and a half years there. Finally he got a insight vision to go back to Akkalkot and do the services there in Swamiji’s ashram.

Meanwhile Govindarao’s father Chintopant Appa Tol was suffering from some kind of demoniac control and he went to Akkalkot and offered devotional service to Swamiji. Govindarao asked Swamiji whether he was present in Bhima-Amara Samgam also. Swamiji smiled and told him that he was present there. Govindrao later got a vision that in the temple of Sri Narasinha Saraswati at Ganagapur, Swami Samarth was seated in person in his full magnificence and wearing the Nirguna Padukas of Sri Narasinha Saraswati. Such was the power of this great sage who lived and is living in the hearts of devotees and helping them out.
There was a Brahmin who was rich and he had made money through the stock market. But he was not happy that he didn’t have children. This Brahmin went to Ganagpur with his family and vowed in front of the deity of Sri Narasinha Saraswati that he would offer food for one thousand people if he gets a child. This Brahmin after some month got a son but due to the problems in the stock market lost heavily and he died of shock. His wife didn’t know how to fulfil the promise of the husband. She went to Ganagapur and offered devotional service to Sri Narasinha Saraswati.
Understand His Devotees
The Brahmin lady got a visionary insight to go to Akkalkot and offer food to Swamiji to fulfil the promise. The lady came to Akkalkot and stood in front of Swamiji and he called her near and asked her to arrange food for him. The lady cooked sumptuous meal for Shri Swami Samarth and he was happy and told her that the vow of feeding one thousand people is fulfilled and she can go home happily and pleased. Swamiji was an understanding person and knew what was happening for each of his devotees.
